Trump’s Own Team Knows His Caravan Claims Are Bullshit

BTW, it would be illegal for those troops to interact with the people in the "caravan"

That means the troops will not be allowed to detain immigrants, seize drugs from smugglers or have any direct involvement in stopping a migrant caravan that is still about 1,000 miles from the nearest border crossing."

Also, Trump said the routine exercises in South Korea were "too expensive". They cost $14M. This racist charade will cost in excess of $220M and has no purpose.
 
You'd think, if all the Trumpite claims about the biased fake liberal news media were true, that they would be falling over themselves to report how Trump and the GOP have virtually stopped talking about the caravan "invasion" since the election. Instead, they're ignoring it almost as much as Trump and the GOP are. I saw no mention of it on the Sunday talk shows, instead there was a lot of talk about how the blue wave had mostly failed and how awesome Trump's loyal voting base was. Real liberal, they are.
 
Pretty much. Media are complicit in this. It’s time for some liberal politicians to start taking it to mainstream media as well. Call them out on this stuff. Push back.

Agreed 100%. It's time for some of these news outlets to be called out.

It's really a non-event now. They are at least a month away (and maybe more). They will become more of a story in 2-3 weeks. The racist nature or Trump's actions and insane spending on something that can't legally happen are the only stories now. They will be more impactful in 2-3 weeks than today.

By droning on, the public will get tired of the story and Trump will win.

There were major stories about the election, France and the fires last weekend that were justifiably covered to exclusion of a story that may or may not come to fruition.

Democrats need to hammer Republicans on that. Come up with a catchy but not offensive name for it.
