Newman is playing well enough to avoid a controversy. I’m not going to hold two tipped balls against him unless it becomes a persistent problem.
 
Monster stop on a 6 minute drive for defense and immediately turn it over. Fuck.
 
That was just a great play by the defender.
 
That pick should have been defensive Interference. Can't blame Newman.

One of the Cam-like things Newman does sometimes is really rifle it at guys when he either doesn't need to or they're too close. I thought that was one of those throws - even with the pass interference I thought it got popped up because it got on the receiver too quickly. Still unlucky to get picked but he need to dial it down a little sometimes.
