2020 Democratic Presidential Nominees

I'll vote for the Dem nominee, period.

I'm still favoring Warren. If she wins, I expect her to have to tack towards the center, at least some. But she's smart and has the right impulses about regulating big business. I like Buttigieg and think he's got smarts and skills.

I liked Obama a lot. Pubs refusing to work with him and instead choosing to demonize him caused me to leave the party.

Biden seems past his prime/time.

If Buttigieg is so smart, why does he still have $137K of student debt 15 years after he graduated? To me, that is an indication that he has made some poor decisions somewhere along the way. Either that or he has no qualms about shafting the people who loaned him the money.

he went to a bunch of schools then got into public service. but you'd prefer the normal bonehead "expert businessmen" running for city council

So, are you telling me that going into public service gives you a license to default on your financial obligations?

Here is your Dem front runner, ladies and gents...

Now here’s a guy.....who has definitely posted before under a different name.

Marrying a teacher? Going into public service? It's not unusual for a young couple like the Buttigiegs to have that much debt. That's the problem Dem candidates are trying to address. Going to college should be a route to economic mobility, not a shackle.

Will donate/canvass for:
1. Warren
2. Castro
3. Sanders

Will vote for, don't have strong feelings about:
4. Pete
5. Beto
6. Harris
7. Klobuchar
8. Booker

Will vote for, actively dislike:
9. Yang
10. Biden

Though I'll be canvassing for down ballot regardless, and hoping that drives turnout for the top of the ticket.

Also I don't dislike Biden, I just don't want him to be President. And I think he's running a terrible campaign.

Agreed I have no personal animosity against Biden I simply believe he’s the wrong candidate at a critical time. My “don’t like” modifies his candidacy not him as a person b

Hey BobXFan, did he default on the loan? Because that's the only way to "shaft the people who loaned you the money". When I googled, I found no indication he had defaulted. The existence of that loan today simply means he viewed the opportunity cost of paying off the principle to be greater than whatever he did with his money. That's pretty savvy.

Lol BKF hating on Mayor Pete for this non issue while standing behind Trump, the guy who regularly stiffs contractors and employees is high comedy.

Assuming that’s BKF.

I would vote for anybody against trump, but if the choices are socialist demagogue Sanders vs nationalist demagogue Trump, that would be a sad state of affairs for this country.

Bernie isn't really a demagogue - he's using arguments to advance his position that extend beyond mere appeal to popular demand or prejudice.

Why should a genders studies degree be a route to economic mobility?
