In light of yesterday’s reports which now allege that A.) Trump committed a felony by illegally paying off a porn star he had an affair with and B.) Michael Cohen was seeking Russian help and “campaign synergy” as far back as 2015....

Are there any 2016 Trump voters who believe he is unfit to serve as President of the United States?

Not looking to get into arguments or shame anyone. I am genuinely curious.

If still a Trump supporter, what would cause you to abandon him?

Unless they got a Facebook meme about it, most Trump voters are completely unaware of yesterday's reports.

Yep. Many are going to say no collusion and witch hunt no matter what. If they were informed voters, they wouldn’t have voted for Trump in the first place.

The rest maybe the majority are completely fine with this because Hillary isn’t president and their whole view of society is that rich white guys who share their beliefs should play by different rules than everybody else.

I heard the reports yesterday totally cleared our dear leader.

Of course.

Solid work by the Boston Globe in 2016 predicting what a Trump presidency would look like. Only thing that’s missing is the Russia investigation.

WAPO, Dec 2018 (from article above)
Facing the dawn of his third year in office and his bid for reelection, Trump is stepping into a political hailstorm. Democrats are preparing to seize control of the House in January with subpoena power to investigate corruption. Global markets are reeling from his trade war. The United States is isolated from its traditional partners. The investigation by special counsel Robert S. Mueller III into Russian interference is intensifying. And court filings Friday in a separate federal case implicated Trump in a felony.

Yeah. Atlas shrugged, too.

paying off a pornstar isn't a campaign contribution in most people's eyes. Get something better.

Yeah I’m sure Trumpist rubes would have given Obama a pass had he paid off a pornstar and violated campaign finance laws days before the 2008 election.

The great majority of Trump's supporters have formed an emotional connection to him, and they'll never abandon him, imo. Many Trumpites now seem to view him as their only hope and champion to hold back the hordes of urban LibDem minorities and elites. There's been articles recently on farmers in the Midwest who are getting killed by his trade war, but they tell reporters things like "well, I still trust him and have to hope that he knows what he's doing." LOL. I do think if the economy heads into a recession that a fraction of his supporters will fall away, and his approval ratings will drop below 40%. Even then, though, I don't see him dropping below 36 or 37 percent, as that's probably his absolute minimum. And, given the outsized influence that rural areas have in our political system, that 36-37% would continue to play an exaggerated role in government and politics.

They aren’t wrong.

And they have a major news network mostly dedicated to serving the administration. He'll continue to maintain his 40% solution. The only way that number seriously erodes is if we enter a recession.

Once the useful idiot outkicks his coverage and starts really fucking things up for the rich donor class, they’ll make it so Fox News turns on him. Not like they’ll have any shortage of material.

Any recession that we have over the next 2 years will be Nancy Pelosi and AOC’s fault.

Well, apparently palma is still in bed with Trump. Awful imagery.

Imagine how much less entertaining the last two years would have been with Hillary at the helm.

Like I said before, take your case against Trump to court. Your odds of winning are about the same as Danny winning the NCAAT with this year's edition of the Deacs.
