1. A Russian spy pleaded guilty to conspiring with a Republican consultant to influence US politics, most notably the NRA.

2. Trump’s personal lawyer (fixer) was sentenced to 3 years in prison for illegally paying off a porn star Trump had an affair with. Both Cohen and the National Enquirer’s parent company have confirmed Trump was part of the decision to make the payments in an effort to keep the story from going public during the campaign.

3. Two associates of Trump’s former national security advisor and sidekick Michael Flynn said Flynn was in touch with the Russian ambassador Kislyak throughout the 2016 campaign

4. Federal prosecutors in Manhattan are investigating whether Trump's 2017 inaugural committee misspent the $107 million it raised and whether some of the donors gave money in exchange for access to the incoming Trump administration, policy concessions, or to influence administration positions.

5. The Senate rebuked the President and passed a resolution condemning Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for the murder of Washington Post reporter and Virginia resident, Jamal Khashoggi.

6. The Republican candidate who benefited from actual voter fraud in NC-9 actually sought out the fraudster’s help despite multiple warnings.

7. Our President is a big adderall fan

Leading stories on Foxnews.com right now:

1. FBI misses deadline to provide docs to Grassley’s panel investigating Clinton whistleblower raid (what is the Clinton whistleblower raid?)
2. Turley says Michael Flynn indictment a “canned hunt”
3. Cop killed, K-9 critically wounded in traffic stop
4. Cheerleader diagnosis her own rare condition despite doctors’ claims (I have no idea what this means)
5. Fox Detroit meterologist dies, devastating friends and family

There’s a WSJ opinion column claiming Strok and Page set Flynn up. I just read the headline and comments. I’m not a subscriber.

No, we don’t “all” deserve this abortion of an administration.

But it’s ours from which to try and recover.

Some of us don’t deserve any of this.

Disagree. Rule of law still applies, though for how much longer I don't know. We elect the prez via the EC, and Trump won the EC. So as a country and society, yes, we deserve the prez we elected.

America deserves this, individual Americans who voted for Hillary do not deserve this. And any idiot who still supports the EC deserves it.

In theory, we can get rid of the EC. But as a matter of practice, I don't see us amending the Constitution for that purpose. Or for any purpose really. The only time we've amended it in recent memory was to address a congressional compensation issue. I mean, if an amendment that proposes to treat women as legal equals of men can't pass in 40 years, do you really think an amendment that seeks to abolish the EC and opt for a straight popular vote has any chance?

Absolutely agree -- no way the constitution is amended. We need to make this a bigger issue and get more support for the popular vote interstate compact. Solves the problem.

The EC will not be abolished because the smaller states' influence is enhanced by it, and so they'll never support getting rid of it. Furthermore, the existence of the EC forces candidates for president to compete seriously for the favor of the voters in the smaller states. In short, to be the president of the whole country, not just a couple of pockets of dense population along the coasts. The continuation of the EC has nothing to do with the failure of the women's rights amendment.

But they are competing in a relatively small number of states with the EC-there's no more than like 10 swing states in any presidential election. Plus, with the popular vote, it's not like willing California by 1 vote is the same as winning it by 10 million. With the EC, it is.
