Green and Childress were NBA busts, no question

Rogers and Bogues basically lived up to their draft positions

Duncan overachieved despite going #1
CP3 way overachieved and LOL at the Hawks in particular
Teague overachieved, Howard overachieved, James Johnson about even, AFA - meh, Ish has carved out a nice career from free agency

The biggest bust that i will never understand was Rod Griffin. Drafted at 17 in first round, and was cut by Denver Pre-season.

21/10/4 on 60% shooting in a OT win at T-Wolves. Hawks have won 4 of their last 5.

21/14 on 8/11 shooting in a close loss in Toronto.

That article seemed like a forced, reluctant admission of the fact that JC is really frickin' good. Or perhaps it was done in such a way to convey his disbelief that the Hawks don't seem to utilize him even more than they do, and he forgot to mention how even Coach Pierce has admitted they don't run any plays / sets for him specifically. That's crazy to think considering his stats and efficiency. And I don't really like the Bosh comparison. He's so much more athletic that Bosh, who was a smooth, savvy player who just seemed to know how to exploit what the defender was doing. Collins' ceiling is sooooo much higher than the roof.

20/10/60 is well within reach. He just needs to average 21.0/9.7/61 for the rest of the season.

30 and 14 tonight.

Make sure you're voting for JC for the All-Star Game.

John Collins must have been worth 8 wins his sophomore year.
Amazing.
He was the real ACC POY.
In a couple of years it's gonna be real hard to believe he was the 19th pick.

Since December 1, JC is putting up 21/12/2 on 58/44/68 shooting. He’s got a lot of work to do on the other end, but his offense is in rarefied air for his age.

26 pts tonight on 12-14 fg in a 142-126 win over OKC.

Yep. He’s inching closer to 19 and 10.

Yeah. Career numbers. Prime TD was firmly 20/10 in 9 seasons. Collins certainly has a great trajectory.
