Great John Collins Article

Then why did you post about getting him? Why not say you want Zion?

If you want to be snarky...

You answered your own dumb question. Zion will not be there at 8. Coby is slotting between 6-9 in most mocks. Hence my post about who I would want. It is not rocket science.

If they can get Coby White at 8, they definitely should. May not pair well with Young but that’s a risk worth taking.

I think he would do well offensively with Young. He was forced to play PG in college. The issue would be on defense. Young is never going to be a good defender and Coby is not one yet (nor is JC for that matter).

The defense is part of the issue. Ideally they get a 3 and D wing like Hunter and a defensive big. But they shouldn’t pass on White.

Reddish is going to be a better pro than collegiate player. He was at best Duke's third option and often was their fourth. With a passing PG, he could do very well in the NBA.

With the tenth pick, it could be worth a shot to take Bol Bol. His dad played ten years in the NBA. The injury could be a one off. Not many 7'2+ guys can shoot like him and he can grow into a shot blocker with his length and agility.

JC with 12 and 8 in about 20 mins. last night

Thaddeus and Bam sent down. Bagley and Derrick White called up. Maybe JC will make the final team.

Watching Sixers-Hawks on League Pass Preview. JC buried a three from the top of the key on the first possession. He has 5 pts, 1 reb 90 sec into the game.

Trae Young is unreal. He’s already young Steph.

There are some superfans on 247 and in Facebook land predicting Wake to be 6th-8th in the ACC this season because we have so much "experience" returning...I feel like those folks would benefit from watching John Collins play tonight and realizing that his team was .500 and 10th in the league.

That’s one way to put it. Kinda weird that we’ve been so bad under Manning that we’ve been so under the radar that some people may not realize how bad we’ve been under Manning.

Jesus. This Hawks team is going to make me get League Pass.

Collins with a baseline three early vs. Heat on NBA TV. Crazy that wasn't part of his game at Wake.
