He was also recruited as a TE out of HS. Although I think he did play a little QB in the nfl too
Jamie’s behavior is stoic. He gets fired up after a play but he is a flat-liner after (leading w/ calm demeanor)
If I had to pick a known qb whose style his resembles it would be Andrew Luck. The methodical way he moves through progressions with his shoulders squared as he goes over the routes.His sturdy build,quick and accurate throws. It is impressive..the work Jamie has put in with Coach Ruggerio. Newman brings a presence..a calm on the field and the others feed off of it. They are not panicking when he is at the helm and the Deacs are trailing..
WF is truly blessed to have Newman and Hartman battle it out..it will make them both better players and the team a better team
