As someone who spent almost 15 years at CBP and had a moderate role in ending the SBInet debacle, I say fuck it. Might as well put "Wall Accomplished!!!" up there and let the dumbshits high five each other in celebration of something that has no impact on them, doesn't exist, and they have no interest or ability to know the reality of it. Ditch the political spotlight and go back to what has been working for the past 5 years - focus on the people, ground-level initiatives, and technology that actually works for use cases that matter.
 
If Trump claimed that we had developed an invisible force field wall that worked exactly the same as a concrete barrier, what % of rubes would believe him?
 
Yeah. 40% of the rubes. I’m giving them some credit.
 
And 97% of liberals will swallow any government boondoggle placed in their bowl..
