I know we have a Wes Miller thread and Wes seems like a good coach but believe Kelsey deserves a thread as well in anticipation of our moronic/dull coach being fired at the end of the year. One of best thing about Kelsey was this quote which came straight from the Winthrop web site "Kelsey earned a reputation as an innovative marketer throughout his career. In Winston-Salem, he worked with current Xavier (now Louisville) head coach and former Wake assistant Chris Mack and Wake marketing to produce the “Tie-Dye Nation” campaign." Kelsey, Mack, Skip made basketball fun, entertaining, joyful to watch at the Joel. There is no fun in this team and hasn't been any fun in the Joel in about 10 years. Whoever follows dopey will need this type of marketing effort to reenergize the fan base. The atmosphere tonight was absolutely horrible with about 3000 in the stands if that. Reenergizing the fan base can be done with the kind of youthful passion displayed by someone like Coach Clawson. I don't know if Kelsey is bitter about Dino but he has done well at Winthrop and he gets Wake.
