Yeah, given that it was a generally red district before Katie Hill was elected, it's not like this district has suddenly rejected liberals after voting for them for decades. They've basically reverted to their norm. Nonetheless, conservatives are all excited that this may indicate some kind of "red wave" is building. The Federalist had an article about it just today. It really indicates nothing, except that Katie Hill resigning opened the way for the district to return to its usual Republican ways, which is probably why her ex-hubby and right-wing bloggers were so eager to release all of those pics of her (with threats to release more unless she resigned).
