Obama was painted as an uncompromising partisan because he said “Elections have consequences” while trying to pass a conservative idea for healthcare reform. That reform was desired by a majority of Americans across party lines.

It’s hilarious but also maddening to think about Obama’s “scandals” that drew hate from the right.

Republicans are dragging the country to the right. The Republican leadership is farther right than Warren is left, yet it's the Democrats' fault from nominating someone so far from the "center." Republicans see themselves as the "real Americans" so anyone who is against them unfathomably far from the center of their universe.
 
I’m not concerned with a Democrat reaching across for Junebug-esque voters. Moreso whatver the equivalent of jilted Bernie Bros is in 2020 sucking it up and voting D.
 
If you want to know what's driving the divisions in this country, just look at the photo from the opening session of the House last week. One side was almost all-white and male, without even much diversity in their dress, and looking not much different from photos of the House in 1960. The other side was visibly far more diverse in gender, skin color, and even their dress, and looked far more like the demographic direction this country is steadily going. Another photo, of AOC getting booed by some of those white male Republicans as she cast her vote for Pelosi, tells you all you need to know about how Trump's GOP feels about the other side - a lot of not-very-pleasant stares. As long as white Republicans feel that way about the demographic and economic and technological changes taking place in this country, no Democrat is going to be able to placate them - Fox and other right-wing media will find a way to stir them up, no matter who the Democratic candidate is.
 
Trump has been the Great Uniter. He has united the Aryan Nation with the Neo-Nazis as well as the militias with Russian spies in the US.
 
Well, the 1/2 white one won two national elections, governed with decency and competency from the center left, and was treated like the devil by Pubs. To their political gain and our national harm.

They should, but they should put someone up who can actually unseat Trump. For every person who said, "well, the DNC FUCKED us by forcing Hillary on us," we need those same people to say, "ok, let's explore Joe Manchin, Claire McCaskill, Eric Holder, George Clooney, or literally any living human being that isn't A) Hillary, B) Bernie, or C) Warren."

I think Joe Manchin CRUSHES Trump in a presidential election.
