I think he genuinely believes that SCOTUS will bail him out. It makes perfect sense in his mob world to have 3 justices in his pocket. He understands less about civics that a C student in a high school class, so he has no clue how it actually gets to the SCOTUS.

Even if it somehow wiggles it way up to the Supreme Court, they ain't touching this. Because if they do the authority of the court and justices who take part in the proceedings will be diminished forever. And it will guarantee that President Biden expands the Court dramatically.

So now the mighty Republican Party is reduced to "humoring" Dear Leader so he won't throw a tantrum and blame them for his defeat. And if somehow Trump's judicial appointments make ridiculous rulings to uphold overturning the election, I'm sure they'll excuse and rationalize that away too: "well, this dictatorship will only last for another four years or so, and then we'll get our democracy back." Spineless, the lot of them. And yet Graham and Collins and their ilk were all returned to the Senate for another term by their state's voters. What a time to be alive.
 
The GOP is very mighty. They have learned how to game the system to maintain and expand their power in spite of being 5 point underdogs. They've turned their deficit into a two touchdown win through messaging, gerrymandering, and obstruction.

Do you guys think Biden will be a good non-partisan and give Barr a chance to stay on like Trump did with Comey, who was appointed by Obama? Or will Biden go full left-wing socialist and get rid of Barr and put his new guy in there?
