KP Report -- Virginia Tech Hokies -- Saturday 4 pm -- ACC Network

3 shots for Hoard in 36 minutes? That is awful.

Uh. They ran a double team at him every time he touched the ball. He threw some good cross court passes early off the double team.. And then threw some wildly poor passes off of it in the 2nd half.

Of course we made no adjustment to get hoard touches closer to the rim. Credit hoard for at least not chucking up 3s.

He may be putting up numbers, but 4 turnovers to 2 assists isn't so good for a PG playing 40 minutes. Especially when those turnovers lead to easy uncontested dunks and layups for the other team.

hard to have assists when your offensive game plan consists of pass it around the perimeter until the shot clock gets low then chuck a 3 or drive ---- a large part of Childress assist to TO ratio lands on the scheming (or lack-thereof) in our coaching

agree with the earlier comment that it is tough to assess any current players under this coaching regime

Yep, but a half decent coach finds a way to get your most talented player some shots. Then again most coaches run some sort of an offense.

Danny needs to go today. A bad to mediocre coach could win at least 4 more games this season and let the team finish with some hope.

If we hang on to Manning for the entire year, we could lose all the talent on the team before Wellman gets around to his year end review.

Glaring stats: shots/minutes - Hoard 3/37, Muscius 12/25; assists/turnovers - Wright 1/5, Childress 2/4, team 8/14; minutes - Starr 18 with Smart/Okeke out; fg%. - .375. Not good.

Kudos to Childress for another good shooting performance. Too bad Wake doesn't have another decent ball handler to help him out.
