Everyone, from local to the national press, has treated Manning with kid gloves. No one wants to embarrass a legend.
Hoard didn't exactly hold back at the bottom of this: https://www.journalnow.com/sports/w...cle_619498b6-2294-11e9-b27d-0398a3c38bca.html
Also, Ayo is mostly correct. The players at least say different things. Manning repeats the same talking points, which I try to use but not overuse and bludgeon yall with.
What should he have said there? He can't say we are going to make changes in order to get better because his coach is committed to staying the course. Really all he can say is we are going to keep doing what we have been doing and hope it works, because that's all their getting for the coaching staff.
It is not like he is going to say we suck and are going to continue to suck. Of all the shit that surrounds this dumpster fire, BChill is not part of the problem. The dude goes out twice a week and gives his everything out on the court and bust his ass for a game that can't be any fun right now. Can't hate the kid because Danny is trash.
I've noticed this too and I wonder how much is due to him being a legend and how much to him being African American. The big media narrative is their isn't enough diversity in head coaching jobs. I'm all for wanting diversity but that should come when they've worked their way up. Manning did not
What was the "weirdest halftime show ever witnessed" that Country Dan references for those of us not at the game on Saturday?
I would hope he'd have some insight into what the team is doing to fix the problems. I had hoped that despite Manning's answers and cluelessness, maybe someone on the staff was getting through to the players with some specifics of things to work on. Rchill? Nestor?
You're reading things into my post at this point. Never called BChill the problem. Just interesting to see the symptoms of the problem...i.e. the team leader and veteran who still believes that we're a great team with just a little more work.
"Country Dan" ... C'mon, man.
I don't know where to start with the halftime show. It was like a cross between the jump-rope kids and a gymnastics meet, with strange music and no established flow.
"Country Dan" ... C'mon, man.
Here is some video of that interview:
Uhh, it's not derogatory. Do a quick Google search and you'll see that moniker used when he hosts open mic nights and for his ReverbNation website.
His peers refer to him as Country Dan:

He refers to himself as Country Dan in a quote in this DeCock article:

I know it's not derogatory. I call him that, too.
Was simply a remark that it was something I wrote, not Country.
Got ya. Assumed it was in his MyTakeonWhatever.

This has been your weekly dose of #BzdelikLogik
You are redeeming your self from that bizarre [Redacted] retirement article last summer with pieces like this... especially with this little nugget:
