Amazon a no go in NYC. AOC slams Bezos

Reports now say there are no plans to build it elsewhere. I'm hoping that doesn't mean an increased portion is coming to Nashville. We're crowded enough as it is, and have no real public transportation system to handle the influx.

Also sounds like very bad news for people who work on The Hill looking for reasonably affordable housing in Arlington.
 
AOC was dumb to spike the football and declare a victory -- completely wrong message. Should have taken "lamentable, but had to be done" tone.

We should be able to do a comparison in a number of years for the HQ2 initiative that goes forward vs the one that was cancelled. In the meantime, the people in and around Queens who overwhelmingly supported this plan just saw the promise of 25k high paying jobs vanish.
