We could definitely end it even closer than that. The Phillies are fighting for their playoff lives. They need to take at least one from the Mets. We also luck out by not facing Verlander.

Actually just remembered that the Mets/Phillies play a doubleheader today. So 3.5 is impossible. It will, hopefully, be 3 or 2.
 
The Braves come from behind for 2 in the 10th to tie it and then come from behind again in the 11th and win it with 2.
 
Odorizzi with 6 innings giving up only 1 run and 7ks is pretty strong work. Not sure if he can do that each time out, but if so what another fantastic AA pick up.

Unfortunately, Odorizzi doesn't face the Pirates with every start.
 
If the Yanks can get 3 more outs then we can cut it to 1.5 tomorrow.
 
Play him in LF, particularly against lefties. Grossman has had some big hits, but he's still hitting .206 and slugging .282 (and Ozuna from the Braves may be a lost cause). Seems unlikely Grissom would be THAT much of a downgrade on defense out there. Hell, you could play him at DH over d'Arnaud or Contreras occasionally too. Or play Ozzie at DH some. Good problems to have!
 
Olson absolutely destroyed that grand slam. That was awesome.
 
So far so good 5-1 with early capitalization of Card error then Contreras adds on a 3 rbi double in the 6th. No HRsso a different approach and Strider dealing with 6 Ks thru 5 with 4 hits. Mets tied with Rocks 6-6 bottom of 9th 2 on 2 out.
 
Let’s get another from the hot Cards and await Mets results vs the Dodgers for 3. Here we come.
