As always, I'm sad to see this thread fall so far, but happy to help get it back on track. The wife and I just got back from a vacation in the Canary Islands (Tenerife, to be exact). What a gorgeous place.

Outside of my old flat in Manama, Bahrain. Used to wake up to this every morning. I miss it.

Just came back from a great convention of the Carolina Nature Photographers Association at Myrtle beach and saw a software that I thought those here working in Photoshop or Lightroom might find interesting. The basic version had a show sale price of $99 think the list is $199 but the sharpening and exposure correction feature it has is AMAZING. Little more than the average guy needs, but it is clear there are some here that have a real talent. The software is not a plug in, but works on it’s own platform, but those using the softwares mentioned above will find it ver easy to use and a real time saver.

Tenerife was money

I see you stayed at the Abama resort; pretty fucking baller, eh? Stayed there for my honeymoon.

Some pics from my 09-10 Afghan deployment. Spent a lot of the time in the North Eastern section of the country in the mountains of the Hindu Kush, and arrived during the start of winter, so I got some pretty sweet photos.

Not showing up for me directly, only if I copy and paste them. Great pictures, especially the 2nd.

buncha fobbit pics from the super pogue.

11 years of service with COMBAT deployments to Afghan and Iraq. Of course if it really bothers you that much feel free to contact any of the current military deacs to pull a FOIA on my profile, where you can see my CAR, Afghan, Iraq, Coms, etc. etc. medals if you feel the need.

Just finished editing photos from my wife's recent trip to Haiti. I like to hog the camera on our backpacking trips, but I have to admit that she's becoming a pretty good photographer. Here are a couple of my favorites from the batch...

Man, your pictures always turn out crystal clear. It's almost like I'm looking through a real window to the place. I travel a lot for work as well, but my wife doesn't trust me with her SLR overseas. I'm still using a cheap basic Cannon digital I got back in 2004.

Don't mind me. Just bumping a thread that hasn't been active in five months. That's how I roll.

Anyway, thought I'd post a couple photos from a recent backpacking trip. Nothing earth-shattering, just a couple images I liked after a quick scan through the hundreds and hundreds of photos I took. All three photos are from the Wallowa Mountains in eastern Oregon. Beautiful place.

I hate to follow Crapshoot because my camera doesn't get anything close to his quality, but here are some pics from last week's trip to tuscany.
