I didn't get up there for the view, but that specific beach was a highlight. We ended up cliffs a couple miles further south, right above the main town area. The picture below is facing south from that viewpoint. I'm not a big beach guy in general but I absolutely loved it down there. Was only down there for a day trip, but it seemed like a great place to hang out for a few days.

The picture I took was from the Botanical Park, which was pretty boring but offered amazing views. I ended up spending 2 weeks in Pipa. Praia Golfinhos is one of my favorite beaches I've been to; swimming with dolphins all day, playing soccer at low tide and drinking caipirinhas was about as good as it gets.
 
Yeah the dolphins were crazy, it was so peaceful and serene on that beach. We were told it wasn't as crowded as usual, which the locals said was due to the World Cup - kind of backwards, but it worked out for us. I guess the native Brazilians didn't want to travel or whatever while so much was going on.

Some of my friends that I met in Brazil went on a different day, wandered around a corner that most people don't go over because of the sharp rocks, and came across an area where baby turtles were hatching and going towards the ocean like a nature documentary. They said it was absolutely amazing, took some great pictures and tried to stay out of the way but couldn't resist helping some of the little guys that were in trouble and might not make it. Just the three of them and the babies.

The move back to real life is kicking me in the ass. Someone needs to let me live vicariously through their travel photos in the meantime.
