Japanese couple atop the Duomo who made out for an inordinate amount of time (45 minutes?). The time we were up at the top of the church. So ridiculous was the make out and lack of social awareness that I had my buddy sit down next to them on that bench, smile, point, and quietly mock the horny couple (cropped him out). I thought about submitting this to Wake's photo-of-study-abroad contest

Lastly (kind of a reveal yourself pic), shooting skeet in good ol' Asheboro, NC

That wagon wheel is awesome. That would be my background if it were the higher res version.

wow, thanks! here's a link to the full res.

I am really enjoying RTQ v Crapshoot. You guys are awesome.

I cannot compete with Crapshoot but thank you and everyone for the kind words! Makes me want to keep digging in my travel photos - and I'll be back with more once I get back from my San Fran to Oregon road trip in a few weeks.

No competition here. I'm just loving all these photos. Some of you have a really good eye for photography, and the members of the Quad have been to some truly amazing places. This thread rocks.

Oh yeah, and here are some more photos.

Taken in the Many Glacier area of Glacier NP.

great pictures everyone. you are all making me painfully aware of how little I travel

Crapshoot, what kind of camera do you have? Obviously you don't shoot with crap. ;)

And do you do any editing or processing, or are those just straight out of the camera?

Tell me more about the Cambodia picture... what's going on there?

And the Croatia one is gorgeous!

The Croatia one is actually Slovenia. I think Husky just offended an entire country.

I have a pair of Canon point-and-shoots that I've used for the last 5-6 years. They both take great photos and have the added benefit of sliding into your pocket, so I can snap tons and tons of photos on our trips without having to lug around a giant DSLR.

That being said, I still enhance most of my stuff in Photoshop. The point-and-shoots are great for convenience and they have a startling number of photo types and modes, but I find that the majority of my photos are just a little bit over- or under-exposed, so they usually need a slight touch up.
