Holy shit, that one about wanting to get the ball into the corner is almost unbelievable. It's almost like Manning has never seen the Cuse zone before. And in all fairness, it seems that we have actually attacked it pretty well a few times in the last few seasons. However, today we looked just clueless. Dribble in one place on the perimeter for 5 seconds and then pass to another guy out on the perimeter and have him dribble in one place for 5 seconds and then pass to another guy out on the perimeter, etc. Pretty easy for a zone to defend that, when they really don't have to move.

Had to look at the date on that one, given that it could have been a legit quote after at least 100 games over the past 5 seasons. Hopefully it gets retired after only a couple of more uses.
 
First time this year but players actually quit at about the 9 minute mark in the second half, definitely appeared that they all checked out at that time, sad to see
 
Syracuse is trash this year. Especially shooting the basketball.

Which says a lot about how bad we are.

Starting to get excited for the firing!

well, there was a chance that Syracuse could come out flat an uninspired by the dead atmosphere inside the Joel, but since they brought a bigger crowd than we had, they did in fact have some energy to fuel them

That's when the announcers started laughing so much the game officially became a "laugher". I noted the time because the mood changed in the booth.

Sits with wife and usually wo guests, people do speak to him as I have done in the past, I am sure some people do speak their minds but not in a confrontational way. Generally does not show much emotion but I would assume he is roiling on the inside like I do. Hope this helps you.

I'm sure he's embarrassed that he's so completely incapable of making the necessary choices to create successful men's and women's basketball programs. But I doubt he worries about it too much while he cashes monthly checks larger than the yearly salaries of many of the fans sitting around the Joel.
 
How's that seat at the table of losers and yes-men treating you? Congrats on what you've created.
