ESPN article about the 80s and 90s North Carolina practice of watching the ACCT at school on Friday: http://www.espn.com/mens-college-ba...m-old-school-acc-tournament-classroom-tv-cart

in addition to the cart, we also had the game on in the cafeteria

I will give props to my high school in Tucson, which surprised me my first year there when a teacher rolled out a cart with a TV on it during the day to watch Herb Sendek's Miami of Ohio (with GOAT Devin Davis) take down Lute's Cats. I knew these guys took their Wildcat bball seriously then.

Going to Vegas next week for March Madness with a handful of posters as a bachelor party attempt number two. Any helpful insight that wouldn't be obvious for those who have gone before?

What, like Vegas tips in general?

Was thinking specific to being there and hanging out in sportsbooks for the first weekend of March Madness but I realize that could be a narrow group of people. So any general insight would be helpful too.

Top golf Vegas is pretty cool and even non golfers would have fun there. Hitting golf balls with the Strip in the background is mesmerizing. Plus they just have regular bars and cornhole and stuff

5 of us do Thu/Fri in South Lake Tahoe every year (this year will be number 9). One thing I have learned over the years is to stay mobile. Never more than 2 hours in any one spot. Different bars, different table games, etc. Keep it moving.

Also, we bet every game, but we bet as a group. Consensus pick. Makes for some fun arguments. We are 11 games over .500 for the past 8 years...including a 2-14 blood bath Friday, 2016.

Find some time to drive through Red Rock with the windows down - maybe even hike a little if you're feeling adventurous.

Go to the MD board and search for their thread titled “Vegas”. Apparently 50% of their off topic posters go to Vegas annually and usually during March Madness

Did this during March Madness last year and it was amazing. Went back this fall. they have the games playing on huge screens you're hitting into. Have a book and a pool as well.

Sportsbooks are packed and you generally can't sit. If you still can, find a place where you can reserve a table for a minimum. Twin peaks, blondies, Beer Park, Lagasse Stadium, and TopGolf are some of the places we've reserved in the past.

How about the mob boss getting whacked. Apparently another mob boss died recently, and two guys just got off of charges. This in the same week as the $76 Million cocaine bust on Staten island. That's like a whole season of the Sopranos.
