I came across some color footage of Wake’s opening round win over Colgate in the 1955 CWS. Among other things, it shows our winning run crossing the plate. This win put us in the winner’s bracket and we went on to win our first national championship.
 
Did you notice that at the end the announcer goes "At the end of the game, Colgate wins". Sigh. The guy had ONE job ...
 
If you go to that Youtube page directly, you'll see it's posted by Colgate Athletics and the header says "Check out highlights from Colgate's classic win against Wake Forest in the 1955 College World Series! #GoGate"
