I know this is a joke, but I am personally offended you would even ask this question of me because it tries to paint me as a Holocaust denier. I have never done anything on this board but stand up to the rampant antisemitism that is on full display here.

Well, your timing sucks then. Questioning “selective application of the rule” on the same thread and day in which Lectro is banned sure seems like a defense of Lectro.

This community regulates itself pretty well, as evidenced by Lectro’s banning being one of the few in recent memory. That means most people don’t act like douchebags, but if they do, they issue a mea culpa like moonz, or chill the F out. Lectro, on the other hand, came in guns blazing everyday throwing Molotov cocktails of bigotry, threats, and outright spam, at anyone who dared call him out, and a mod got sick of his shit. He couldn’t self regulate. That’s on him.

lectro's arrivals 100% coincided with drops in Tunnels participation due to his spam-bombing. with the exception of token, brad and sailor everyone called for either a ban of some sort or at least the confinement to one thread like JHMD. the guy wasn't providing sensible, 'dissenting' let alone interesting opinions to further discourse.

any other forum outside of 4chanand r/The_Donald the guy would've been gone a long time ago

I think that was kanhoji you're thinking of. jhmd was banned but just never came back after the month or whatever was up. he still lurks -- he pos'd me on a sports board thread a few weeks ago

Jh just reps from time to time. It’d be tough for him to return as a poster at this point since all his predictions about the GOP in the age of Trump have been buried under a pile of McDonalds wrappers and Diet Coke cans.

The only GOP posters now are sailor and whatamount. Sad state of affairs. I think CA is going to walk away at this point, lectros tireless trolling gave him cover for his preferred sniper trolling. Don’t think he cares enough to troll full time.
 
Although closer to election time I bet we’ll get the return of supposed “never Trump” Republicans like wrangor who will loudly lament the Dem nomination of some devil socialist but be secretly relieved at the cover it gives them to vote trump.

Junebug is a good conservative poster to me. It’d be nice if more conservatives like him posted but ITC is right, Lectro used to drown them out. Hopefully they come back regularly.

The notion that anyone would seriously defend lectro or be upset at his banning is absurd. He never posted anything serious or worthwhile to read, and much of what he posted was literally incoherent. A good deal of it was long cut-and-paste jobs from various right-wing websites, and most of the rest consisted of weird personal insults, typos, and wildly rambling rants. He was obviously either a bad troll or just plain crazy. Agree on Junebug.

Junebug is good until he starts getting super self-righteous, then it becomes just a different type of insufferable
