It will be interesting to see if Brown can take advantage of the talent he is bringing in. UNC has the #3 class in the ACC

should have an explosive offense next year, but a pedestrian defense (particularly on the d-line). doesn't help that unc opens up by playing at UCF and then Auburn in Atlanta.

UNC opens next season at UCF and then plays in Atlanta against Auburn (then, UNC plays home against 1AA Power JMU).
UNC will either jump into the national conversation early on or be an afterthought by early September. UNC does get a break in the intra-division game as they drop Clemson and add BC.

Going pro. Grad transfer. Same as Newman.
He should grad transfer to Wake - he would be a legend.

He led the ACC in tackles in his first year after switching from QB to LB. Pretty sure a lot of NFL teams would draft him.

He's more than just good. #10 overall on ESPN and #33 overall on 247.

He picked UNC over Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona State and Auburn, among others.
Good to see top talent staying in-state/ACC instead of going to SEC. Next step is to convince them to come to Wake instead of UNC.
247 has about 30-35 5-stars per year in their final rankings, so he's right there. ESPN has about 15-20.

It makes me wonder how much UNC is paying under the table to get recruits with SEC offers.
Sam Howell had an Alabama offer and committed to FSU before eventually committing to UNC-CH.
Well, he did say that he wanted to continue his education at UNC. That explains it.
