"Go Pit Go" would be a decent name for a drive thru BBQ restaurant.

    Fuck, that's hard.

    Either Q Shack or Backyard.

Special mention to The Pit (more sit-downy) and Johnson Family.

I dont like The Pit that much but it is very well situated in downtown if she wants to check out other things going on in Durham while shes here. Q Shack is okay but NanaTaco right next door to it but is much, much better (though not BBQ obviously).

The Pit in Raleigh is better than the one in Durham. I've been fairly disappointed in Q-Shack of late. I'd recommend Backyard BBQ Pit on 55 but it's been a while since I've been there.

The pit in Raleigh is garbage so Id avoid either one. Backyard is great, but Id go with Picnic.

Just skip it. Allen & Sons in Orange County would have been the answer but RIP.

Still open in Pittsboro. But yes that was the best in the area.

I'll put in another vote for Backyard BBQ.
