Thomas Homan was Obama’s executive associate director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement for nearly four years. He confirmed that these facilities were the former president’s conception.

“I’ve been to that facility, where they talk about cages,” he said. “That facility was built under President Obama under [Homeland Security] Secretary Jeh Johnson. I was there because I was there when it was built.”

During an immigration conference on June 26, Homan cited an instance where the Democratic chairman had asked a Trump official if kids were still being kept in cages:

“I would answer the question, ‘The kids are being housed in the same facility built under the Obama administration.’ If you want to call them cages, call them cages. But if the left wants to call them cages and the Democrats want to call them cages then they have to accept the fact that they were built and funded in FY 2015.”
 
Who gives a shit. Stop the policy and shut down the facilities now. Come on, compassionate conservatives. I thought Trump’s whole presidency was guided by “Obama policy, do opposite.”

Literally policy written by the same Pod Save America bros who are talking about it every week like it’s new and not their doing. The Obama administration did lay the groundwork for this. I wouldn’t really put much stock in Moonz’s links but the for profit prison/military industrial complex knows no party.

Also Sailor why do you make up petty nicknames for women you disagree with but rarely do so for men? I scrolled back through a few of your posts and noticed several different women whom you've dubbed something (I'm sure you believe is) "clever" while you've only done it once that I can see for a man ("Beta" for Beto). Normally when you disagree with men you simply use their name but with women that's not the case - why is that?
