what is the relationship between the Starship SN4 and the rocket going up Saturday?

Not much, other than being built by the same company.

Starship SN4 is a different design, made of different material (stainless steel) and uses different engines (Raptor) than the Falcon9 which will carry astronauts to the ISS.

The Falcon 9 is made of aluminum and has Merlin engines. Let's hope the weather cooperates today.

Is it me, or was the first stage dramatically smaller than the old ones were. This looked almost like a pencil going into space.

That was seriously amazing.

With their touch screens can they access their iClouds?

The Falcon 9 is smaller than the Saturn 5 rockets that went to the moon.

ETA:

Saturn V max thrust was 7.6 million pounds.
Falcon 9 max thrust is 1.7 million pounds.
