Jim Caldwell on Medical Leave for the 2019 NFL Season

Back in February Jim Caldwell was named Asst Head Coach/QB Coach for the Miami Dolphins. On Saturday he announced:

"I will be stepping back due to some medical complications that require my full attention," Caldwell said. "I want to thank [owner] Stephen Ross, [GM] Chris Grier, Coach Flores and the rest of the organization for the support they have given me and my family."

I would say I hope it's not serious, but a year away suggests that it is indeed serious. Hope he makes a fast and full recovery.
