How about George Karl ? He's 68. Won over 1,000 NBA games.
 
How about Danny Manning's dad ? He won a national championship in 1988 as an assistant with the Jayhawks.

A great Coach would be awesome. It also isn’t enough to consistently win at Wake. We need the complete package at Wake. Proper stadium, proper Coach, proper practice facilities. now have 1 of those.

This is a lost 2 decade stretch for Wake hoops. It isn’t coming back until 2025 at the earliest. That makes it all the more important to use this time to get the package correct.

We have not built a stadium for a century. One can debate what happened in 1989. Hard for many to accept the errors that were made. Time to put them aside and do what is the best thing to do in 2020 for the benefit of the next 4-5 decades.

Sorry, at this point, Anthony Grant is a pass. In a dozen years as a HC, he has ONE NCAAT win. That's not good enough.
 
Grant might be able to raise us up to mediocrity but no farther. We can't afford that at this point.
