2020 Hurricane Season

Bump for the new year. We've had two named storms already, with a potential third cooking in the Atlantic. Having three named storms before June 1st would be a first in history.

Dude, GSO has had over 9" of rain this month. That's more depth than Townie's mom takes on the reg. Weather is bananas.

Over 11 inches since last Monday in the CLT. That's Juice's mom level.

Isaias getting ready to run up the U.S. east coast. First hurricane with a 4 syllable name. Miami area look out. Also N.C. outer banks. If it doesn't hit Miami, outer banks are another target.

Isaias missed FL coast mostly. Was about 50 -70 miles off shore. Jim Santori in Wrightsville Beach. You guys in eastern half of NC in trouble.

to paraphrase 2&2, this will be a milkwich for ENC

Wind and rain has picked up considerably here the past few hours. Several tornado warnings since around 8:30pm also with reports of a roof torn off a home on Bald Head.

Looks like God is about to punish us for putting black fists on our football helmets.

man can you imagine if we had fans at the games this year? all those dumb Clemson rubes would be booing up a storm before whatever announcement they inevitably make before kickoff.

Surprised no talk of the most recent hurricane. Not much in terms of wind but very slow moving and dropping 30+ inches of rain on the coast and moving into GA/SC/NC.

hitting my hometown hard, glad my parents no longer live there. saw a video posted by former next door neighbor of severe flooding in the yards. they're building a new bridge across Pensacola Bay and a barge whacked into the new bridge, tearing out a section. this span has been used for 2-way traffic while they still build the other span, so residents across the bay will now have to take the long way around.
