Just read Conner's latest....

Pre-game concert with Big Daddy Love, a flyover and post-game fireworks ! Currie says most tickets sold for opening game since 2011.

One way that Currie appears to be somewhat smarter than Wellman is that he seems to grasp the basic concept that if we are good at the sport we play more fans will attend our games.
 
If we sniff anywhere 30K with essentially no visiting team presence that will be pretty impressive.

Given that there were relatively few usu fans it was an incredible turnout for the deacs. Was very impressed with the turnout. We will have more for conference games but there will be a lot of holes and state fans there. For a predominantly wf crowd it was one of the better crowds I’ve seen.
