UNC at Wake, Friday 9/13

That’s bulletin board worthy.

Clawson needs to remind the refs that we are the better team, prior to the game.

It’s like basketball against UNC...gotta watch referee behavior.

If ANYONE is under the illusion that we don’t have to beat the refs in this game too then you must be residing in Neverland
 
Scotty’s flashy (albeit inconsistent) play, together with the improvement of Claude, will likely allow us to play Donavon in only 4 games. Four full years of Greene at WR will be awesome.

Are we? We were frankly pretty fortunate to beat Utah St at home and beat a mediocre Rice team. UNC beat USC and Miami. If this game was on a neutral field or at UNC, they would be favored to win.

Winning margin matters. Rice is worse than mediocre but winning by 20 on the road (up 27 entering garbage time) is solid. Yes unc has two impressive wins but margin also matters. We also moved up in metrics after beating Utah State who dropped a decent amount before bouncing back this week. It was a solid performance
 
Everyone agrees it’s an even game so we will be favored by 3 since at home

Credit where credit is due. That was well done.
 
In some ways I think this is the most important game in the Dave Clawson era. If Wake is to garner serious cred this is the kind of game that we must win. That said, UNC was impressive against Miami. We may need to expand our offense a bit. Surratt against Surratt should be interesting as a sub-blot.
 
No team puts an L next to Wake when their schedule comes out. Even Elon puts a maybe. They won't respect us until the final gun, and even then the excuses will flow. The #1 team in the country comes to Keenan in 2 weeks, We and App are just bumps in the road until then.
 
Guys get big. This is a W for Wake.

Our QB is better. We are better coached. UNC is yet to play a real game on the road (a game in Charlotte is a home game for UNC, sadly so may be a game in Winston). Karma should dictate that UNC loses and loses badly. Wake owns the state of North Carolina. Swahili sucks. Play some more Kenneth Walker. Our Surratt is better. Boogie is going to get his. UNC is giving up 4.5 ypc right now, Cade Carney will run for 150. The secondary enforcer Nasir Greer comes back. Wake by 8.

It’s one of the most important ones of the year but come on. Beating state on the road last year to keep alive the possibility for a third straight bowl game was way more important.
