Donald Impeachment

The lefties are deflecting since they don't want to think about the problem of Adam Schiff acting in secrecy because he has neither facts, process, nor the law on his side. Your advice is redundant. When it comes to reality, the lefties always have their ignore function on.

The President asked a foreign leader to do him a favor by investigating his political opponent. What more facts do you need. You are lost.

Also interviewing witnesses in private (so they can’t coordinate or change testimony) is Investigation 101.

Trump supporters have lost their damn minds trying to defend the guy.

What do you do when neither the facts, the process, or the law is on your side? You act in secret. This whole "impeachment" Schiffshow needs to be moved to Area 51.

Without getting into a debate on the facts, the process and law are in fact, on the House's side. That holds pretty much for all impeachment inquires. So you are simply incorrect on those two points, at a minimum.

The House gets to decide the process, as well as whether the "offense", which need not be criminal in all cases, is impeachable. It is all within the House's control.

What secrecy?

Completely appropriate secrecy. Schiff's committee is hearing from witnesses in closed session, so that other potential witnesses can't know what was said and tailor their future testimony. An impeachment in the house is akin to a grand jury proceeding. Grand juries deliberate in secret, only hear from the prosecution, and generate indictments. Those indictments are then put to trial, where the accused receives due process to confront accusers, present counter evidence, etc. Trump will get his chance in the Senate trial.

Any thinking conservative (which right now are about as common as hen's teeth) understands this, and the White House position to the contrary is utter bullshit. The White House/Fox News/Sailor line of challenge to the proceedings is like a mob boss's lawyers bitching that they didn't get to present exculpatory evidence to the detective investigating the hit. And as noted, it is devoid of any substance because the substance is so damning for team Trump. They have to focus on the "unfair" process and generate another "enemy of the people", in this case Schiff.

Right, so not secrecy, implying out of sight and ill-intentioned. In private to do it correctly.

100% this

You mean you criminal attorneys aren’t rolling into grand juries to defend your clients? Wow malpractice ?

Exactly. And of course, plenty of Republican committee members are in these hearings. They are not Democrat only affairs. Sailor's crowd wants the public to think that evil Adam Schiff is bringing in secret informants for one on one secret conversations where they can manipulate everything to hurt the president. These hearings are closed hearings, but they are being held in front of a couple dozen US representatives of both parties, and their staff members, and transcripts will be produced at the appropriate time.

Noted Trump yes-man Devin Nunes is the ranking Pub and presumably is sitting in on every interview to make sure Trump's interests are protected. And I would be stunned if he isn't leaking anything he can back to the White House. Trump is getting far more protection than any citizen gets from a grand jury indictment.

Trump’s ex-Russia adviser told impeachment investigators of Giuliani’s efforts in Ukraine

Bolton and Sondland met in early July with then-special envoy for Ukraine Kurt Volker, Hill and Energy Secretary Rick Perry. During the meeting, Sondland’s agenda for Ukraine began to become clear, when he blurted out to the other officials present that there were “investigations that were dropped that need to be started up again,” according to a U.S. official familiar with the matter. The officials understood him to be referring to Burisma, the energy company, and Biden — something that made Bolton go “ballistic” after the meeting, the official said.

Hill told lawmakers that after the meeting, Bolton instructed her to go raise their concerns about the shadow Ukraine operations with White House lawyers. Bolton said he did not want to be part of any “drug deal” that was being cooked up on Ukraine, one person familiar with Hill’s testimony said.

Bolton just wanted to show up and start a couple wars, not get into all this nonsense.

deep state

the problem is what the Bidens did, not the effort to shed light on it

This is, and I can NOT stress this enough, horrifyingly scary. Like...creepy authoritarian shit on 4 cans of Mountain Dew scary.

So all this lends some credibility to the idea that Bolton was the whistleblower.

super productive conversation you guys are having with comrade Sailor. Recommend use of ignore function if you can't resist feeding the troll.

The fun game is to ignore him then predict what’s the hidden post. It’s like board jeopardy. It’s not a really challenging game though. The easiest clues are any post that should be a response to a question is basically sailor saying you should look something up. About every third post is some “clever” nickname he’s come up with and put on the metaphorical fridge for approval.

You are wrong about either the facts or the process being on the House Dems side. Neither are. If you think that you can sell the absurdity of what Schiff and his pals in the House are doing as a legitimate impeachment, go ahead, make Trump's day.

there is no process you or any trumpslave will consider legitimate. you don't even think the Constitution is legitimate.
