Yeah Sinnamon Buns would have been a better choice. Cinnamon Buns is way too heavy on the food reference. It immediately brings to mind a woman who eats a lot of cinnamon buns. Needs to be more subtle.

Dr. Luscious Buns could work also.

The way it ends up peacefully (and correctly) is for Republican leadership to march into the White House and clearly explain it is over. That he either resigns and avoids prosecution (even receives a pardon), or they will move forward with impeachment and forced removal followed by criminal prosecution. That’s what should happen. At this moment, the argument could be made that Mitch is the single most powerful republican. Submitted without comment as to what the GOP will choose.
 
The problem with that is if Pence is implicated. No way they force a resignation if Pence might be taken down too.

Regardless of what Trump wants this will not end peacefully or rationally.

Moscow Mitch McConnell is less powerful than Donald Trump. Trump can generate the political will to have Moscow Mitch replaced. Moscow Mitch can’t do the same to trump.
 
The problem is they can’t move on from Trump. He will tweet them into oblivion.

I’d love to see Moxon respond with an “I don’t want your life and I don’t want your President” tweet.

If Mitch really wanted to see Trump removed, I think he could. There has to be a line somewhere right? I’m just worried it’s going to get a lot worse before we reach it.

I'm kinda surprised Moscow Mitch hasn't marched into the WH to give Trump a list of what he wants to do saying, "Do all of this or we will convict you. I have no problem with President Pence."

The pubs who read the phone call transcript prior to the public release and thought it was good for Trump were looking to set him up.

Why wouldn’t we have armed rebellion in the streets? Who would stop it? Trump’s military? The cops who mostly support Trump?

We are talking about gun nuts who are itching for violence against anybody different than them. They usually just leave it up to the cops and military but they’ll take it into their own hands if they feel desperate enough.
