2019-2020 NHL Thread – Playoffs???

NHL will allow ads on uniforms starting in the 2022-23 season. Won't be long until the ACC does the same.

Seems that his relatively quiet year this past season got us a little discount. If he continues developing, it's a hell of a deal.
 
Canes go super petty troll job and offer sheet a Habs player with a $20 signing bonus. Announcement was very similar to their’s when they signed Aho, and we also put it out in French. I love this team.
 
Puts Montreal in quite a bind as well. Matching the over-generous offer sheet pushes them over cap but letting him walk nets them just two picks. All for a guy who went third overall and is only just now 21.
 
NHL players will participate in the 2022 Olympics (yes, the Winter Olympics are less than 6 months away). There will be a 19 day break in February for players to participate in the Olympics. The one potential change would be if COVID worsens to a point, where the NHL has to stop part of the season before the Olympic break or if COVID conditions in China are an ongoing concern.
