101 best pizzas in America

How does Cugino Forno compare to Mission?

It's probably a better value if that matters to you, but they are not serving authentic Neopolitan pizza despite the claims (bigger pies, crusts too thick overall and flat/chewy), so if you're comparing them on those grounds they lose straight-up. Still p good, but I think Mission is a step above quality-wise. I will say that Cugino Forno gets points for being next to and delivering to a brewery; I think that contributes to some of their enthusiastic reviews.

Cauliflower crust? Brixx does it.

Yeah, some places do some decent crusts (Dominos' gf crust is actually alright), but you can't really get the same feel for regional styles -- the gf crusts I've experienced are much of a muchness. Still, a solid option if you just want to satisfy a 'za fix.

Well here's the topping list for Detroit Style Pizza:

crack
heroin
engine oil
roofies

The dough is made with lead-infused water.

Remember Detroit did give us Domino's and Little Caesar pizza.

For the few people old enough to remember the Pizza Garden (in the corner of the parking lot of the Joel). One night they closed early and made us a pot pizza. They added a little extra garlic and some sausage. MMMMM

not on the list, but Keste on Bleeker Street (just down the street from John's) has a spectacular gluten-free pizza; the only gf crust I have ever had that tastes like real pizza

I mean seriously, if you are in Manhattan and gluten-free, you need to go to Keste

My first attempt at Pizza on the BGE. Pepperoni, Ham, Pineapple, Mozzarella, Parmesan, Goat, and Gorgonzola. Homemade crust and sauce.

Around here, you can get fresh, whole pineapples at 2 for $3 or 2 for $4.

It's a perfect combination of great fruit and getting aggression out cutting and husking them.

I thought Talkin Fruit was a Chat Thread Production. Townie's going to be irritated to see other posters trying to steal his IP.

Why would I want to go to a restaurant and make my own food ? Does it cost half as much that way ?
