Official 2020 NBA Offseason - First Half Season Schedule Out

Jordan turned 35 during "The Last Dance." Lebron is a little older than Jordan was at that point. Good call on Malone. I didn't realize he was that old for his MVP.

Lebron looks like he'll be a top 5 player into his 40s.

Jordan also took a season and a half off from basketball in his 30s. For some players taking a year off could accelerated the deterioration of skills, but in Jordan's case, it appeared to re-charge him physically and mentally.

but Jordan also probably could have won an MVP the next couple years if he wanted to

Doc Rivers to the Sixers.

Because if your franchise disappointed this postseason you want to bring in a coach who got fired for consistently disappointing in the postseason.

It does seem like the most interesting question to come out of these finals might be when lebron will actually begin to decline. It can often sneak up on you, but it sure doesn’t look close currently.

lebron's versatility is the the thing along with how well he takes care of his body. that lebron is built like a power forward and is one of the best passers in nba history substantially lengthens his prime. lots of players need their elite athleticism as an edge to stay on top. lebron has already lost a step but can operate out of the low post and still play bully ball and find shooters all over the court. his strength and vision aren't going away soon. his game is already way different than it was in his heat days and it will continue to change but still have nearly the same impact.

Doc seems like a perfect choice for a franchise that wants to spin its wheels for the next 3 to 5.

Official 2019-20 NBA Thread: Heat vs. Lakers in the NBA Finals - Clips Cut Doc

Lebron has played 11k more minutes (Regular Season and Postseason) than Jordan played his entire career already. Assuming he stays healthy next season he’ll likely finish 2021 third in regular season minutes. Just insane durability.

The Lakers are shooting 100% with less than a 10 point lead.

And they can't hit a shot just up 10.

Wow, Jimmy Butler playing straight up scared out there.

Heat had plenty of window to win that game.

I agree. They just had to hit some shots. Butler has to be more assertive in those situations. Did Herro get up more than a shot or two in the 4th? Seemed like Nunn and Olynyk were doing most of the playmaking.

Adam Silver said he doesn't think there will be a break in the season for the 2021 Olympics. So no NBA players in the Olympics.

Man you look at lebron's career stats by year, and there just isn't a decline for 16 years. Pts slightly down but it correlates with minutes. He had two crazy years with MIA with having a really have eFG% over 60, but that's about it.
