Pinstripe Bowl vs Michigan State

Hearing we are going all in for the Pinstripe.

FSU or Miami most likely to El Paso, outside chance of Louisville, but the Music City is pushing hard for Ville.

WFU will be pushing out some marketing for the Pinstripe and would like some help spreading the word and hashtagging.

Ugh, I was hoping we'd somehow end up in Nashville against all odds. Can't make the Pinstripe bowl because of the date of the game. Oh well, Go Deacs regardless of where we end up!

MSU was outscored 144-17 by ranked opponents this year on its way to a 6-6 record.

Their wins this year are against Tulsa, Western Michigan, Northwestern, Indiana, Rutgers, and Maryland.

Syracuse's wins before our game were Liberty, Western Michigan, Holy Cross, and Duke, so....

Great point. Also, our wins were not that impressive either, we only beat 1 team with a winning record.
Utah State 7-5
Rice 3-9
UNC 6-6
Elon 5-6
BC 6-6
FSU 6-6
NCSU 4-8
Duke 5-7

We only played 4 teams with winning records this year, granted we went 1-3 against those teams.

OTOH, we played 7 teams with winning records excluding games against WF, and went 4-3

And btw, 3 of UVa's 9 wins were to Wm & Mary, Liberty, and Old Dominion....and they'll get stomped by Clemson like everyone else....

That’s a much better argument than Pilch and Rafi’s “what if the 6-6 teams win their bowl game?”

So we're one game over .500 against teams that are one game over .500.

Football Outsiders posts the FEI Ratings, which say we're the #49 team in the country, with the #50 defense, #60 offense, and (hold on) #112 special teams

ACC with 1 of the nation's top 39 teams, then 6 teams among #s 40-49

Any word on the marketing campaign and push?

Momentum really seems to be for NYC. Where do people stay for that trip? In the city? Or outside and commute in? If outside, where?

You stay in Manhattan (east side) and take the 4 train to the stadium. Or if you're afraid of subways you call Uber.

The Hole announcer was on a local radio station (non -sports) this a.m., and when asked about the Holes bowl probabilities he said "I'm hearing mostly Pinstripe or Military".

If you want or need to save money, you could stay in Secaucus, NJ (lots of hotels) and take the bus to NY Port Authority and then the subway to the Stadium. See NJtransit.com for info on the bus.

We got an airbnb in west orange last xmas. It was great
