Wake fans definitely would but also it's not even worth talking about because Wake-App won't happen.
 
You can understand the fear. That is some LOWF stuff. Kind of like making a once in the lifetime OB vs a team from a dying conference that we end up playing every season 8 seasons later.
 
Yeah, ending what some dopes are calling a possible "special season" with an Orange or Cotton Bowl game against App State isn't LOWF. It's a huge disappointment. Luckily, our boy John Swofford has insulated us against that possibility for the most part.

So pack your bags for El Paso.
 
Would love to have a late bowl game and for Justin to get in on a kick off or something so he gets to play in a big bowl. He deserves it

Who do you think goes to the Orange Bowl from the ACC?
 
You've already explained that and I understand that we're not playing App State. Just saying it would really suck if we did.

If WF goes 9-3 or 10-2 in the regular season, what adjective would you use to classify the season ?
 
Good to great.

Special is a dumb descriptor though.

Winning the ACC and beating Clemson is a big deal. 10-2 is just good or great.
 
Wake has won double digit games once in 112 years of football. I'd say if that makes 10 wins special.
 
Amen. 9 is pretty special for us also. Still work to do. 1-0 each week.

Okay - so we lose at least 3 games of our last five (at least reasonable) and then either VPI wins out other than ND this week and the UVA or UNC winner this week also wins out?

UVA still plays both those teams, VT plays ND, and UNC has two games where they're going to be slight road underdogs. Not to mention UNC already has four losses.
