Wake had 0 chance of getting Pitino.

His interview made that very clear. He took the Iona job because of his relationship with the Iona President. It also happened to be 10 minutes from where his son is and 25 min from the club he belongs to.

Iona is on North Avenue in New Rochelle, which is the armpit of Westchester County.

Our babysitter back in the day when we lived in Scarsdale was an Iona student. Beautiful but dumb as a rock.

Well the Idiots on North Avenue have a better coach than the Forest that is Wake.
 
Wyoming hires UNC (… University of Northern Colorado) head coach Jeff Lindner. Linder has led UNC to 3 consecutive 20 win seasons. In 2018, UNC won the CIT tourney. In 2019 Lindner was the Big Sky COY. This past season, they were the #2 seed heading into the Big West Tourney, which was not completed.
