Basham, Surratt, Hartman and Kern return

The thing that gets me is slowing the RB to a stop. Very few have enough acceleration to make this work as well as it should.

It seems like we have been handing the ball to RBs who were standing completely still for years - drives me nuts! Even before this slow mesh point thing we would do these delayed hand-off draw-like things where we hand the ball to the RB 5 yards behind the line when he is just standing there... Ugh!

Seems the RPO would be even more effective if we ran some normal hand-offs/stretch plays/pitches and they didn't know it was coming 75% of the time.

Wake can't keep RS Sophomores from going pro, and Dabo gets Etienne back for his senior year. This is all such a cruel joke.

Yep.

Probably because big time players at big time schools get paid handsomely by more discrete Odell Beckhams'.

ETN coming back is incredible, but Sage Surratt and Boogie Basham are both coming back. Shut the hell up about Wake can’t keep good players.

Duke E did his 5th year at Wake as well.

Newman talk starts a few minutes in.

After a period of adjustment, Biff realized that now Georgia football news is on topic on the boards. He’s happy.

Georgia's defense is going to be very very good next year. If Monken can get Newman and the WRs on the same page as the WRs in the short time they have, and the offensive line reloads, the offense will be good enough. They still have playmakers at RB.

I know it’s a short time, but I bet he can get the WRs on the same page as the WRs!

The reload of the O-line is the key issue and biggest question mark.

UGA loses 5 of 11 starters, per the depth chart. 5 other draft eligible starters as well (unsure if any are considering leaving). Why is the defense supposed to be better than this year?

Clearly referring to Dortch, and next year Surratt as a junior. Etienne would be the 1st or 2nd RB picked and he is staying for his 5th year. So, you shut the hell up.

Doesn't everybody have turnover ? Of course not everyone is coming back. But there are no early entries on the defensive side and the guys leaving are not expected to go very early in the draft. They lost a lot the year before too, but, young guys got a lot of playing time this year, overall it was a fairly young defense. Key guys coming back for senior year are LeCounte and Rice. Ojulari made a huge jump at the end of the season. And it's the second year under a new DC.

Scoring defense might look a little bit worse if the offense truly starts aring it out, but that's modern college football.

Way dale Jones has updates his twitter pic with a picture of himself in a Stephen F. Austin uniform. Can’t see anything saying that is where he has transferred to, but could be something coming out soon.
