KP Report NC State Wolfpack - TONIGHT YES FRIDAY - 7 PM - ACCN

After state beats the living shit out of us this would be the perfect time to FIRE Manning.

It makes no sense to allow this to linger. Cut him loose, and that way we are first to look for coaches, the job will be known, and there will be at least some view that we are serious about winning again.

I sai isay again

Rex Walters interim, transfers can transfer out and retain half a year. Clean house!

Just checked...2nd behind the insane night we had against Asheville.

Has to be.

FT percentage....Nice

It’s insanely dumb to answer that question and blame shooting for low assists given the good percentages and the PG scoring 30.

We lost? Good. I was afraid Manning May slip up and win this one. One game closer to getting Manning out of here.

Back from the game- gave up 91 pts.

Danny hangin' the old hat on D again! :tard:

I haven’t seen one. Not one. What plays have you seen? It’s high pick and roll and dribbling.

We are setting low picks and back screens and we are swinging the ball from side to side and throwing skip passes and occasionally we are throwing lobs inside (often too late). Let's be fair, it's more than dribble and shoot. Still too much dribbling and while our spacing is hugely improved, our guys don't seem to be confident about who will be where...thus lots of passes into air and out of bounds.

We don’t run plays to get players shots. There is no movement except for dribbling and pick and roll. No backdoors. No back screens. No shuffle cuts. It’s up to the players to get their own shots one on one. Accordingly, we shot over 50% and had 10 assists. Dean Smith would throw up watching our half court offense.

Manning is a moron. We shot really well. Our lack of assists os because we have no offense and our PG took 2x more shots than anyone else on the team.

90% of the time, a player is dribbling and 4 are standing still. Yes, occasionally we throw it down inside. That’s not a set play. Manning might give a signal to throw it to the post or a player might do it unilaterally. We rarely run a high low. We don’t run Childress off of picks to get him an open look. Swinging the ball around the perimeter or a skip pass isn’t a set play. Manning just usually rolls the ball out there, has players set high ball screens and that’s it. The players have to do it themselves.

How many major conference teams have gone 10 seasons without making the Round of 64?

How long after hiring a new coach did it take them to make two consecutive NCAA Tournaments?

Just taking a guess off the top of my head of Programs not making the NCAA Tourney since 2010, so someone would have to verify this.

ACC: BC, Wake
Big 10: Rutgers
Big 12: none
Pac 12: Wash St
SEC: none

Programs that made it only 1 time over past 10 years:
Northwestern, Penn St, Nebraska, GTech, TCU, Oregon St., Miss St., Alabama, SC
