Republican Voter Suppression Efforts

It should. So elect some people who want to spend more money on voting and election day efforts or move to Vienna.

This is the system today. Go vote. But if you don't want to wait in line forever during early voting, look at the map that the county has provided you with and check the wait time first. Or, if you're committed to early voting, request a mail in ballot, or just plan on voting on Election Day.

yeah you can check the wait times at www.letthemeatcake.gov

a lot of people tried to vote for the person in Georgia who probably could have fixed this but her opponent was the guy in charge of voter suppression.

Is it ? How many did they have in 2016 ? The answer: About Exactly ELEVEN spread throughout the county. The same number as 2016, so it's not like they devised a sinister plan since then.

The early voting location numbers per a county is just more in the same vein as Texas and their drop boxes. Large metro counties, wow look they have 11 places to vote early thats so good, oh the wait is still 3+ hours long, who is more likely to live in large metro counties, democrats, more specifically minorities. Wow look at these rural counties they only have one early voting location, oh per a population that's still like 3-4 times more access than the metro area lets get those Trump votes!

Geez, Biff. 2016 was a grand scheme. Repeating it continues the scheme.

A website showing wait times could be a form of suppression. If the listed wait times are longer than they actually are, that could discourage people from going to vote.

Well, I guess it's not working to deter Trump or Biden voters. Back to the drawing board.

Those long lines are costing Georgia time and effort these voters spend working, taking care of their kids, buying things, taking classes, and any other way to spend time besides standing in a damn line. What kind of bassackwards state thinks standing in line is the best use of their time?

No reason to change any American system. Americans just need to learn to work the system better, and if they don't, it's on them. I mean, just look at Donald J. Trump and his tax return preparers. Now THERE'S a true American who knows how to take advantage of a totally screwed up American system! MAGA!

It's a time honored tradition in this country. See: Disney World.

Disney World uses all kinds of different methods to get people to spend money around the parks instead of standing in a line.

Yet people spend much of their time waiting in line, whether it's multiple lines for 10-15 minutes at a time or three hours to ride the new Avatar CG ride. And they willingly travel great distances and pay $1,000 per day for a family of four to do so. But voting's free !

You’d hope heads will roll. They set up a scheme to trick people into giving away their ballots. That’s much different than allowing people to collect ballots and turn them in.

It would appear that the GOP has adopted the SEC motto in terms of voting: "If you ain't cheatin, you ain't tryin"
