It's hilarious that a decent number of these purchases are DVDs. Does anyone still actually buy movies to own anymore? I think the last one I bought was The Dark Knight.

my wife is a history teacher and buys streaming movies from Amazon to show in class. like she's gonna buy 1917 when available.

I think I ordered a book or two in the late 90's, but 2001 is as far back as my history goes:

2006

I bought both available seasons of The Adventures of Pete and Pete on dvd, as well as the Pete and Pete soundtrack on cd. I was 25 years old. I stand by that first purchase.

Spoken like a dude whose wife hasn't orgasmed in the last couple decades.

Dec 11, 1998. Two books. We Were Soldiers Once ... and Young. Actually had that sent to a friend cuz I had it already. The Federalist was the other book. I’m sure nobody is surprised by either of those purchases.

Second order wasn’t until 1999. I bought the 70s high budget porno flick Caligula on DVD.

I do. I'm a film nerd who wants the best audio and video quality available, and streaming can't deliver it. I just bought The Shining and Joker on UHD disc yesterday.
