2020 Democratic Presidential Primary

Trump gonna crush this election, folks. Best bet is to get rich and get white and forget about the environment and gun control and women and all that mamby pamby shit. man up

I love that Bloomberg's made Strickland even more unhinged than he usually is.

so, you're a Pat Toomey supporter, too, Portfolio Bro?

btw, your boy is going to get KLOBbered, BUTTIGIEGed, BERNed, and regulated (#WARRENG) on national television tomorrow

you might be back on Bidenwagon by the time it's all said and done

what is your non-ad hominem reply to that article, chrisL ?
I don't know why he supported Toomey. I haven't really done a deep dive into it I do know he spent way more money supporting Democrats in 2018 was a major factor while we took the house. And toomeys election made no difference to Kavanaugh or the impeachment. Anybody who doesn't believe that any Republican no votes were dog and pony show with the exception of Romney is kidding themselves.

Oh I think Bernie is going to win the nomination... And then he's going to get destroyed by Trump and it all be exposed that the progressives have been played by the right yet again.

Bloomberg will hold his own tomorrow night though. The debates are mostly an exercise in confirmation bias.

It would be awesome to nominate a Republican so as not to get played by the right yet again.

As to Bloomberg supporting Toomey, that needs to be brought up. But the reality is it didn't change much.

Strickland's premise that Bloomberg's support of Toomey gave us Kavanaugh and the impeachment fiasco is not only insane it's historically inaccurate and total BS. One vote wouldn't have changed any of it. Thus, Strick's post is totally FOS and irrational ranting.

The reality is Bernie will get destroyed by Trump. It may not be as bad as Mondale vs. Reagan, but it will likely be as bad as Daddy Bush vs. Dukakis. I'm not saying a progressive versus Trump would be that bad, but a self-described socialist and non-Democrat would. If Warren was gaining strength like Bernie appears to be, she'd be a runaway winner.

At some point in the next 90-120 days, Obama may need to hold a summit with candidates and others to put forth a strategy to destroy Trump.

Or do you think it makes sense.

Has there been any discussion about how the Wilder-Fury fight on Saturday will impact the NV caucases? Reports from early voting are about the long lines. Hopefully people working on Saturday were able to vote.

I love the logic that Bernie can’t win but if Warren were as popular as him, she would be a runaway winner.

Sadly, I understand your being puzzled. Whether you like it or not, America will not elect a person as POTUS who describes himself as a socialist any time soon. Another progressive can win, but not with the yoke of socialism.

As of now, Bernie's "lead" has him with 27% according to the NBC/WSJ poll.

Pat Toomey isn't the only sucky Republican Bloomberg spent millions to support! He also spent big on Rick Snyder. Remember that guy? Memory refresher:

https://www.ogboards.com/forums/showthread.php/25447-Flint-MI

How about the $100M+ he gave to Emily's List in 2018 to help women win back the House? Or does only the old and bad count?

How about his donations for education? His actions for climate change?

How about's problems with people of color and women with his campaign in 2016? Doesn't that count?

RJ if a socialist wins will you quit the boards

I wouldn't call 2014 and 2016 old, but supporting Rick Snyder and Pat Toomey sure is bad!

Does anyone here have Bloomberg as their #1 choice? Seems most everyone has some issues with him. Still preferable to Trump.

The way things are going, a few Dems will vote for him to pwn the lefties. Dems really like campaigning against their own voters.

at some point trump won't be president anymore and we're going to have to collectively reckon with the costs and consequences of selling the party out to people like Michael Bloomberg

Does the good stuff after that count?

Does Bernie's campaign's mistreatment of women and people of color count?

Everyone in this group has some skeletons in their closets.
