Brennan was 24 years old his senior year at Hawaii so he was very old for his class.

Looking at his wikipedia, I forgot he was Matt Leinart's backup in college.

The day before, paramedics were called to a hotel room where Colt Brennan had been with other people. Terry Brennan said his son had ingested something laced with fentanyl and never regained consciousness.

A 2010 car accident left him with a traumatic brain injury, and that made it difficult to continue his football career. He tried to catch on in the USFL, Canadian Football League and Arena Football League but didn't stick.

Terry Brennan said his son was never the same after the car accident, which left him with the head injury, broken ribs and a broken collarbone.

Brennan had a series of legal troubles in recent years, including arrests for driving under the influence.

In 2006, Brennan threw for 58 TDs. They opened the season at Bama, and the game was tight. Bama won 25-17.

Alabama went 6-7 that year and wound up vacating those 6 victories. Saban replaced Shula after the season.

They went 12-0 in 2007 and lost 41-10 to Georgia in the Sugar Bowl.
 
FCS Championship Game this weekend. Sam Houston State vs. South Dakota State. Neithee school has won the championship previously. Sam Houston coach, K.C. Keeler, already won an FCS Championship while he was head coach at U of Delaware.

Keeler also played at Delaware - he was a linebacker - when Tubby Raymond was coach and they were national champs. Pretty cool winning a natty as a player and coach at the same school. Go Blue Hens.

It was very strange when he was fired from UD. Had a national championship and some other good teams.
