How is a hospital supposed to allow doctors to come in there without vaccinations? Has this guy been allowed to work without his diphtheria, measles, mumps, rubella, polio, tetanus, etc....vaccines?
 
well, there is a good chance that one or more of those things could happen.
 
 
Don't know how legit the photo is, but it doesn't matter, as it looks like something an anti-vax Trumpite would make and proudly wave around. The notion that not getting a vaccine that has been proven to work and may well save your life is somehow an example of preserving "liberty", "personal freedom", and "rights" is just batshit crazy thinking. Yet here we are, over a year and half into the pandemic.

 
Our vax mandate comes into effect week after next. All but one are vaxxed. The one is someone who literally I've had the mayor of los angeles's office call me to ask if I could get her to stop sending letters to them. She was born for this activist fight. I'm getting her responses certified mail to my house. One was a 45 point letter that.... I mean I've been researching on r/hermancainaward pretty hard, but the depths of these conspiracy theories I had yet to come across.

Most notably, they can't get tested because the nasal swabs have formaldehyde in them (google it, this is a debunked thing) and that the inventor of the PCR test claims it was never meant to test for diseases (I haven't looked this one up), and that covid 19 has been around since 1999.

You realize that article is 3 weeks old right?

The actual reason for the walkout is that 2 weeks ago the pilots union filed a lawsuit against Southwest over pay, hours, benefits, etc, arguing that SW violated the terms of their labor contract. This is an organized effort around that.

Naturally the simple minded among us glommed onto it claiming it was vaccine related.
 
In a statement on Saturday, Southwest’s pilots union said it was aware of the widespread cancellations. The union last week objected to the airline’s recent announcement that it would mandate vaccination against the coronavirus, but said that the cancellations were not the result of any pilot protest.

“We can say with confidence that our pilots are not participating in any official or unofficial job actions,” the union, the Southwest Airlines Pilots Association, said in the statement.

The union said that its members “will continue to overcome” management’s “poor planning” and other outside challenges, adding that Southwest pilots “always maintain the highest level of responsibility to their crews, their passengers, and our airline.”

You're fired. And for the record, it is not because you didn't get the vaccine, but because we now realize that you are bat-shit crazy AND a complete idiot.
 
It's almost like people don't understand how complex our air travel infrastructure is, and that something as small as being understaffed at the JAX ATC can have a butterfly effect lasting days.

There is no coordinated walkout by Southwest and ATC. Some simple minded lemmings are projecting what they hope is happening onto the current situation.
