Covid-19 - Treatments & Vaccines

Hey at least the guy that died was a true believer and stuck to his convictions despite death, there is integrity in that. In juxtaposed to that are power hungry fucks like the Joseph Ladapo who know better but promote the opposite as a career builder.

That dude was old and fat. Those are the exact people that actually need to make the fuck sure are vaxxed. But honestly he died quickly and didn't take up excessive healthcare, probably better he died of covid than some chronic disease.

I mean he was 61, he most likely had at least a decade of life left most likely more. Human capital loss is probably still significant even at age 60, but he was an anti-Vax misinformation piece of shit so I don’t think that goes into the calculations.

But at what cost to society would his last decade amounted to?

He collapsed on Christmas eve and died on Jan 3rd. He spent 10 days in the ICU on a ventilator. That's probably $150,000 worth of healthcare and 500 person-hours.

ahhhhhhh I thought he died in his home. I take it all back.

A question for the doctors - would you attend next week's Duke game if you were fully vaccinated (including booster) and wore an N95 mask, or is it too much of a risk?

The problem is the people who put everyone in danger by not wearing a mask.

Like our former athletic director?
I was told he was at a recent game with no mask. Apparently we have people walking the coliseum with signs encouraging people to wear them. One young lady had to stand in the isle in front of him before he finally relented.

WFU should not be encouraging people to wear masks.
They should be requiring people to wear masks.
WFU owns the LJVM. They can do whatever they want.
No shoes
No shirt
No service.

Republicans love to proudly fail their constituents.

Republicans love to proudly fail their constituents.

republicans don't recognize failure the same as others do. They are conditioned to get on board the train and not ask questions of those in power. I guess the caveat is as long as they are owning the libs.

Republicans love to proudly fail their constituents.

Standing in lines for hours for basic needs and services is great! Republican bread lines are going to be great after the economy collapses when they successfully establish their dictatorship.

Republicans will take pictures of their own lines and convince their constituents that's what life will be like under Biden's socialism.

You think Republicans will be giving out free bread in their dictatorship?

According to the article when he first showed symptoms of covid after attending the conspiracy conference he was advised to take a covid test, but refused, saying "No way" and he insisted it was bronchitis. After five days with a fever he finally admitted that he "might" have covid, and he was then found unconscious in his home on Christmas Eve and taken to a hospital and put on a ventilator.

Stuff like this happening has been one of the only positive things about COVID.
