It's pretty obvious (imho) from the article that Currie is extending the review process to see what shakes out with coronavirus and whether he can move on with a new coach.

Agree. For Manning to "expect" to remain the coach means no one has told him he will remain the coach. And though we would have liked to have seen him fired sooner, this still would not be unreasonably late to do so.
